The Biloela Rotary club was excited to be holding the Pride of Workmanship award this year after being unable to conduct the award in 2020 due to COVID-19.

"This event is an opportunity for local employers to recognise and acknowledge the efforts and contributions of an employee who consistently achieves an overall high personal standard and work performance,” Rotary Club Public Relations Director Helen Fitzgerald said.

“The award is intended to foster favourable employer/employee relationships and a sense of community pride in individual achievement.”

The award’s theme is “Do it Once – Do it Well – Build a Better Australia”.

The award scheme seeks to embrace both workers who are attentive to work quality and apply an ethical approach to work.

The Rotary Club emphasises that it is not a competition, and there “are no winners in a strict sense”.

The awardee will not just be seen as exceptional by their employers but their peers too.

They will also have to be in the business for at least three years.

Awards will be presented at the Biloela Anzac Memorial Club Thursday, March 18.

Nominations close March 3, 2021.  For an information pack including the nomination form, please email bilorotaryvocational@gmail.com.

The successful nominees will have their meals and awards covered by the Club and “generous local sponsorship”.

Rotary Biloela wishes to sincerely thank the sponsors for helping us bring this event to Biloela.
