THE NINJA playground in Moura has been built over the past month and enjoyed by the public.

Work commenced late month and has been an exciting prospect for many children.

The park comes after the Banana Shire Council received COVID funding last year, and the decision was made to revamp the park.

The decision was voted up by primary and high school students after a number of ideas were put forward.

“The ninja course will be great for all ages, promoting exercise and agility,” Councillor Brooke Leo said.

The ninja course is set to be designed under the shade encouraging use throughout the summer.

Unfortunately, the course will be replacing the historic “rocket ship” which was popular through the 70s and 80s.

The rocket ship will no longer be in use due to safety regulations.

“Ninja course will hopefully offer something new & exciting for all community to use,” Brooke Leo added.
