Children ready to give new mobile skate park a spin
CHILDREN IN Thangool are champing at the bit to try out the new mobile skate park on the recently constructed skate park slab.
The slab was laid in Thangool's Memorial Park, located in the main street of the town, by Council employees earlier this year after the State Government provided $50,000 from its Works for Queensland program towards the $117,000 project.
The Works for Queensland program also provided Council with $63,000 to purchase a second mobile skate park
Banana Shire Mayor Nev Ferrier said the new mobile skate park included a mobile fun box and two static skate ramp modules.
